This policy explains what personal data ProSportsTrader collects, why, and what rights you have.
Controller
This Policy applies as between you, the User of this Web Site and ProSportsTrader.com, the owner and provider of this Web Site and the controller of your personal data. For privacy matters, write to us through the contact form.
What we collect
- Account data: your email address, the name you give (if any) and a hashed password. We never store your password in plain text.
- Your content: strategies, filters, league sets, trackers and the bets you record in them.
- Technical data: for each signed-in session, the IP address and browser user agent, used to keep your account secure.
- Messages: what you send us by email.
We do not use advertising or analytics trackers and we do not sell personal data.
Why we use it and on what legal basis
- To provide the service: performance of our contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- To send account emails such as address confirmation and password reset: performance of the contract.
- To secure the service, prevent abuse and fraud, and establish or defend legal claims: our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing.
Who processes it for us
We use these providers, bound by data processing agreements:
- OVHcloud (United Kingdom): servers and database.
- Cloudflare, Inc.: content delivery, security and access control for our websites.
- Resend: sending account emails.
Our servers are in the United Kingdom, which the European Commission recognises as providing adequate protection for personal data. Some of the other providers are based in the United States. Transfers outside the European Economic Area rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
- Account data and your content: while your account exists. After you delete your account we erase them within 30 days, and from backups within a further 30 days.
- Session data: until the session ends, at most 30 days.
- Emails with us: as long as needed to handle the matter, and at most 3 years.
Cookies
The app uses a strictly necessary cookie to keep you signed in. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies. The landing page sets no cookies of its own. We use no advertising or analytics cookies, so we do not ask for cookie consent.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, have it corrected or erased, restrict or object to its processing, and receive it in a portable format. Write to us through the contact form; we answer within one month. You can also complain to a supervisory authority: in Poland, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa, uodo.gov.pl), or the authority in the country where you live.
Children
ProSportsTrader is only for people aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger.
Changes
We will post changes to this policy here and email account holders about material ones.
