About Me & The Blog

Hi, I’m Jules, known as CU Green Trader. I am husband, dad of two children, a guy over 35 years old. I run an IT company and I am PRO Trader. When I decided on the idea of blogging, I started to wonder if I could be named PRO Trader because most of my income is generated by my IT jobs. The answer is YES because trading generates additional regular income for me, and IT services for companies allows me to calmly make decisions related to risk on the exchange. I am not burdened with the thought of how I support my family in case I have a set of failures for some time and believe me, every one can meet them. Trading is a game of speculation and probability. In order to be profitable in a long term perspective, one needs to be patient and repeats the schemes. My adventure about which I want to tell you here began 8 years ago, and more precisely on 18.09.2012 on the day of the Champions League match between Real Madrid and Manchester City since placing a bet on winning Citizens. About this event and my beginnings I will write a post if you are interested then sign up for the newsletter, so you will be kept informed about new entries. Topics that I would like to raise on this blog over the past few years have accumulated a lot, so they will appear here successively.

Why I do this?

You may wonder why I write this blog and why I devote my private time to it. There are several reasons. A few basic:

  • For over 2 years I was a trader who did not generate profits, moreover, in the first year they were losses, but I have sorted out my problems.
  • This blog was created also for my young children so that in the future they can read that goal pursuit, stubbornness, hard work, positive attitude, lack of inhibition in risk-taking that had to be taught can produce the desired effect.
  • This is also a blog for my beloved wife, who for most of my trading considered it a hobby that involved gambling and completes the spreadsheet tables.
  • There are not many people who try to spread practical knowledge of sports trading in an accessible way and supported by real examples
  • Some shows only screenshot from P&L but are afraid to see what is behind them winning, because they treat you as competition.

I can say that I do it for myself and my children, and you can also take advantage of it. If you find anything you read on this blog valuable or have a question about a particular post, please inform me about it.

Please keep in mind that I made mistakes as well. I describe various issues based on my own experiences, which can be very distant from your life. Please apply them to your own situation, and I hope you will benefit.

Thank you for reading this introduction and I hope to see you on my blog.
